Best Free URL Link Shrink Service With Statistics & Tracking- Social & Article Marketing

URL Link Shrink & Redirect Services seem to be popping up everywhere, but many are also shutting down just as quickly. These services are a must have when utilizing article marketing, social network/bookmark marketing, and especially when using a service such as twitter where you are limited to the number of characters you can use.
 In the past, TinyUrl has been the most popular service, but when twitter took off, many people scrambled around to find a service with the shortest possible domain.   One of my favorites was Cli.gs because of the statistics offered on your links, but that site is shutting down or being sold.  Unfortunately, that is a big issue with many of these sites.   I have been using a couple of different services lately, but I have been using only one service when I input the link myself.  I use several different twitter services to manage multiple accounts, such as Hootsuite, TwitterDeck, and others.  When using those services, I will usually just go ahead and use their link shrinker, but am finding myself doing it less and less because of the difference in reporting of statistics.  Currently I am using bit.ly for almost all of my basic link shrinking & redirecting needs because they are free and provide ad free statistics that even track and show you when and where your link is mentioned.

After much consideration and input from others, I/we have decided to completely start the No Money Marketing blog/site(s) over from the beginning, as well as most of the other blogs/sites with related topics such as starting a business without a budget, how to make money online topics etc.. blog/site(s). Like everything related to the internet, the information regarding making money on-line by utilizing free marketing methods is a very quickly evolving area. With this in mind & after a tedious review of the information within our sites and blogs, we realized that there was a lot of information posted ranging from bum marketing methods, web-site designs, monetizing your information on your site & everywhere else, to just about everything else that was very out dated & conflicted with our current information.

Through the past experiences, both successes & failures, in helping others make money online, promoting/marketing ideas, services, products & businesses, as well as the numerous other areas of interest, we believe that this "new" site, as well as others that are being restructured, will increase not only the probability of success, but achieving goals quicker and having success at a much higher level. I also remember my "roots", when starting out, not knowing anything or even where to start. I have been through the process of learning, brainstorming, trial & error, and all the frustrations associated with it, but also the rewards of having that light bulb moment where all seems to finally fall into place. I've been through the process of implementing, tweaking & perfecting a huge number of projects & ways to earn money on-line, as well as off-line. I am not a self-proclaimed "Guru", we all know there are enough of those people around. I am still learning everyday & definitely do not know everything, but one of my goals is to convey what I have & continue to learn to you in a way that is easy to understand & utilize.

As stated in the previous entry we are going to work on the No Money Marketing Method, which is basically utilizing Bum Marketing, Article Marketing, and other methods. It will basically be an evolution of those methods and the utilization of linking strategies, SEO, Keyword Research Techniques, and many more methods/strategies that are a part of marketing. With SEO, we are not concerned with the "labels" of black hat, grey hat, white hat and so on, but more of a NO hat SEO that I'm sure some will call a combination of the above.

The main thing to remember is that the key is marketing. Plain and simple, if you can not market then very little else really matters. The concept of marketing is sometimes thought of as a specific "type" of marketing, and while there are different methods to market there is not a specific step by step marketing method or plan that can be considered as the best. Each marketing style has it's place, for example the "true" bum marketing method is great for those who are just starting out and do not have a lot of money or don't have any money to invest for that matter. However, that is not to say that bum marketing is not for experienced and successful marketers, because many make a lot of money month after month utilizing it. The main point I am trying to get across is that marketing is essential to success, and to maximize your success you need to know each method or style and begin to determine what to use in each situation, as well as developing your own method that works best for you.

Travis is considered the "father" of Bum Marketing and I have learned a tremendous amount from him through reading his posts in forums, his web-site, etc... If you have not visited his bum marketing web-site I strongly recommend that you do so. He is not one of those so-called "gurus" that make all their money off of selling people e-books that supposedly tell you how to make a million bucks in a month...lol... Rather, he is a very generous individual that gives away a ton of information totally free.

The specifics of different methods of marketing will be talked about and looked at indepth to ensure a good understanding and hopefully improve upon in one way or another.

Article Marketing- Making Money Over A Year After Publishing Article

One of the great things with article marketing/bum marketing is that you have the ability to continue to make money well over a year after the production/publication of your article. Of course, there are the same variables involved in the success of the article(s) such as keywords, quality, placement, etc... BUT never give up on an article you put out there. Recently, we had forgot that we had done an article or two at the most on a topic and linked to both clickbank directly from the article and to a blog we set-up. While looking over my adsense CJ and clickbank information the other day I noticed that I had rec'd a few clicks on some of my adsense ads, sold 2 e-books w/ commission of $19.99 on one & $13.99 on the other, and had approx $2-$3 in CJ commission, but had over 15 "invalid link" clicks b/c I forgot to update the link to a product... Doesn't sound like a lot, but a year later this article or possibly 2 brought in about $40 in about a month time frame.... So, don't always get discouraged and give up, b/c you never know what will happen...

No money marketing is a combination of a variety of methods & strategies that are currently used by numerous people to make money online, several forgotten methods, and a lot more added in. I apologize for not updating this and our other blogs/sites lately. I have had some medical issues and have been out of commission totally.. However, I should have plenty of time very soon to make up for it, as I did find out that I am about to undergo back surgery within the next month or so.. It will be the 4th one within 2 years, and it is getting very frustrating due to the fact that I'm not even 30 yet.., but no one can tell me what caused the problems, or even what will correct them or atleast relieve the pain to a tolerable level!!! Really, just think when you search for something on google, how many times do the results contain several user's ebay pages. A ton usually. Well, we also sell online, so I have been looking into alternatives to ebay and have found some that are totally free and can help in your marketing and/or money making projects.. Details are slim right now as I just did this over the last couple days, but will get back to ya and let you know..

Overall, one way to tell what google is "loving" currently is to just watch your search results for various topics. This will give you ideas of where to go to promote/market etc... While some may not be available for you to use directly, they will still help you get started thinking for alternatives. But if you just look a little I bet you can find some SUPER places to throw up an article or two.... that will bring in some traffic.. AND maybe even a little cash.....
